Official Rules – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
ONLINE REGISTRATION - $35 per entry
MAILED ENTRY - $39.50 / ADDITIONAL- $35 EACH
HOW TO PLAY:
1. Circle one player from each of the eight (8) numbered boxes.
2. Write in four (4) additional players as your Wild Card selections, using any player other than LPGA players that is NOT listed in any of the eight numbered boxes. These 12 players will make up your team. Note: LPGA players and the numbered players in the 8 boxes cannot be used as Wild Card selections.
3. To use a Wild Card player that is not listed, call 800.823.0833.
4. Create a Team Name for your selected group of players. Weekly results, contest standings and rankings will be posted on line by this Team Name. If multiple team names are submitted, the earliest entry claims that name.
5. One point will be given for every dollar your 12 selected players earn from the tournaments listed on the entry form/website.
6. Earnings are limited to tournaments listed on the entry form/website. If additional PGA, Champions and LPGA tournaments are added to official tour schedules, they will be updated on the website and included in this contest.
7. Golfweek is not responsible for providing players’ schedules or injury updates for tour professionals.
8. Official earnings are taken from the AP Data Stream. Players’ earnings for an event will not be rounded up to the next dollar.
9. Dollars earned by any Champions Tour player in any of the PGA tournaments listed on the schedule will be included in that player’s earnings for this contest.
10. Players’ earnings will be limited to “Official Money Earned” from tournaments listed. Any money from skins games, non-official events will not count in this contest.
PRIZE COMPETITION
All entries will be randomly sorted into “flights” of approximately 100 players based on the number of entries received. Players will compete for overall and flight prizes.
SWITCHES
Only two (2) switches are allowed to be made per team during the 12-week contest.
1. TEAM SELECTIONS ON THIS REGISTRATION ARE FINAL. ANY CHANGES AFTER REGISTRATION WILL BE CONSIDERED AN OFFICIAL SWITCH, INCLUDING ANYCHANGES FOR WEEK #1.
2. One switch is defined as replacing one player with another within the same box (i.e. Tiger Woods out / Phil Mickelson in).
3. Switches cannot be made online. They are manually performed by the game administrator with requests made by phone (800.823.0833), fax (409.899.2457) or email.
4. To request a switch via email, go to www.GolfweekGames.com/Fantasy. Click on “To make a switch” tab and fill in the requested information. You MUST include the following: your name, team name, phone number, week number the switch is for, who is out / who is in. You can also submit a change request by clicking “reply” to your e-mailed weekly report with change information.
5. Substitute one Wild Card player only with another eligible Wild Card player. A Wild Card selection cannot be a numbered player from the eight numbered boxes. A hot link to all wild card players is available on www.golfweekgames.com/fantasy.
6. Once a player is switched, only the dollars they earned from that point forward will be credited to your team.
7. Only e-mailed change requests will receive confirmation when a change has been completed.
DEADLINE TO MAKE A SWITCH / CHANGE
1. For week #1: midnight Wednesday, March 31, 2010.
2. Weekly: Midnight, Wednesday, Central Time
RESULTS
1. Flight and individual rankings are calculated weekly.
2. Results will be posted online at www.Golfweek.com/Fantasy after 2 pm Monday. Results will not be posted in Golfweek magazine.
3. If you provided an e-mail address, weekly results will be automatically sent
4. Requested faxed results will be sent by 5 pm EST Monday. Those who did not provide an e-mail address will receive bi-weekly reports on even-numbered weeks
